Introduction
The Second School Allocation Exercise 2008 has started. Two new school premises under planning and two vacant school premises are available for application by eligible school sponsoring bodies (SSBs) for reprovisioning of existing primary/secondary schools which are in need of infrastructure upgrade.

Submission of Application
Applicants who are interested in applying for the school premises should follow the procedures below:
(1) | The applicants should submit a proposed school plan [NOT MORE THAN 10 PAGES including all annexes] plus a 2-page executive summary. SSBs may also provide information on the school(s) that they are operating and their respective performance to support their application. They should also include information as regards the views from parents and teachers about the reprovisioning plan. | ||
(2) | Should the proposed school plan contain more than 10 pages, the application might be adversely affected. | ||
(3) | Applicant bodies are required to submit one copy each of their application forms and detailed information on their eligibility [i.e. incorporation document and certificate of exemption from tax], together with 15 copies each of the documents as stated in (1) above to the following address by 17 October 2008: | ||

(4) | Fifteen soft copies of the proposed school plan in the form of CD-ROM are also acceptable. Late submission or incomplete application may not be entertained. |
