Introduction
Supplementary School Allocation Exercise 2001 has commenced. School premises including Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) senior secondary schools as well as DSS/aided secondary and primary schools scheduled for completion from 2003 to 2012, school site for construction of school will be made available for allocation in this exercise.
The School Allocation Committee (SAC) (27 KB) [For SAC's power and function, please see Terms of Reference (20 KB)] will select school sponsoring bodies (SSB) with the best proposal (including their vision, mission, class structure, admission policy, management and organisation, teaching and learning, support for pupils, school ethos, performance targets and indicators for self-evaluation, etc.) to provide quality education for our children. Submission of Application Form and Proposed School Plan

Applicant bodies are required to submit their application together with a proposed school plan [maximum 40 pages together with all annexes, not more than 60 pages for a secondary cum primary application] with a three-page executive summary and detailed information on their eligibility [incorporation document and certificate of exemption from taxes] to the following address by

The supporting documents shall not be stapled together with the proposed school plan. Fifteen copies of the proposed school plan and executive summary shall be submitted but one copy of the supporting documents will suffice. Late submission may affect the assessment result.
