  • Professional development training programmes for teachers
  • Sharing sessions for schools
  • The Scholarship for Prospective English Teachers was introduced in the 2011/12 school year to attract persons proficient in English to pursue local bachelor degree programmes and / or teacher training programmes majoring in English or a relevant subject which will qualify them to become English teachers on graduation. Upon graduation, awardees have to undertake to teach English full-time in primary or secondary schools in Hong Kong for three years.
  • [Completed Schemes] The English Enhancement Scheme for Secondary Schools, English Enhancement Grant Scheme for Primary Schools and Refined English Enhancement Scheme for Secondary Schools are to help schools develop their school-based English enhancement measures to strengthen the learning and teaching of English and to achieve sustainable effects after the completion of the Scheme.
