Secondary Level: Teaching Resources


        To facilitate the promotion of NSE in schools, the EDB will update learning and teaching resources timely for teachers’ reference.
        Effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the learning and teaching resources. However, if there is any room for improvement, comments are appreciated. Schools are also welcome to provide information to enrich the content for teachers’ reference.
        The learning and teaching resources below are provided by the EDB. Teachers can make enhancements or adjustments according to school-based needs.

Implementing National Security Education in the English Language Curriculum

With the use of video clips and articles, students are introduced to our country’s effort and achievements in the conservation of giant pandas and cultural heritage, thereby helping students understand the history, culture and latest development of our country, deepening their understanding of national security (e.g. cultural security, ecological security) and the importance of safeguarding national security, as well as enhancing their sense of national identity.
