Introduction

The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 will be held in Hangzhou, China from 23 September to 8 October 2023. Hangzhou will be the third China city to host the Asian Games, following Beijing in 1990 and Guangzhou in 2010. The slogan of the 19th Asian Games is “Heart to Heart, @Future”, which is reflecting the ability to connect people from all over the world through the Asian Games, embodying the ideals of unity and solidarity of the Olympic Council of Asia family, and at the same time, conveying the expectations of confidence, optimism, fearlessness of challenges, and the shared pursuit of a better future.

Introduction of the 4th Asian Para Games Hangzhou 2022

The 4th Asian Para Games Hangzhou 2022 (4th Asian Para Games) will be held from 22 to 28 October 2023. The slogan for the 4th Asian Para Games is “Hearts Meet, Dreams Shine”, which echoes the slogan of the Hangzhou Asian Games, "Heart to Heart, @Future", in terms of its core content and style. The mascot “Feifei”, inspired by the motif of the "Divine Bird" in the Liangzhu culture, expresses the expectation of harmonious co-existence between human beings and nature, and also symbolises the messenger of culture and happiness. The name of the mascot serves as an allegory for the inclusiveness, respect and fraternity of human society, and represents the mental tenacity of the athletes with disabilities pursuing dreams and reaching beyond themselves.

The official emblem of the 4th Asian Para Games is “Ever Forward”. The motif of the emblem comprises a posture of a wheelchaired athlete striving and dashing forward who exudes dynamics, energy and passion. It also demonstrates the sublime heroism of the para-athletes persevering and challenging themselves.
