History Trips Go Easy Mobile App (Updated Version)

The mobile app “History Trips Go Easy” is developed by the Personal, Social and Humanities Education Section, Curriculum Development Institute, Education Bureau. It aims to provide mobile learning resources for students and teachers, enhancing the learning and teaching effectiveness of relevant topics in Junior and Senior Secondary History curricula.

The mobile app provides e-learning resources on Cheung Chau Jiao Festival field trip, including parts for preparation before field trip, routes for field trip, and extended learning. In addition, the mobile app will successively include new field visit routes, enriching students’ learning experience in History. Meanwhile, the mobile app adopt augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) and other e-learning functions, creatively incorporates e-learning into field trips and enables History learning to take place outside the classroom. It can enhance students’ learning interests and facilitate their self-directed learning, thereby developing historical literacy, and cultivating the positive values and attitudes.
