Primary Native-speaking English Teacher (PNET) Scheme

The Primary NET Scheme 15th Anniversary Conference - Scaling New Heights

The Primary NET Scheme 15th Anniversary Conference – Scaling New Heights was conducted on the 18th March, 2017. The Hong Kong education community gathered to celebrate the 15th year of the Scheme. The Conference was held at C. C. C. Heep Woh Primary School in Cheng Sha Wan.

In conjunction to the hundreds of educators, the many NETs, LETs and school Principals in attendance were academics, Education Bureau colleagues and guest speakers who took part in a forum. The forum shared their observations and expectations of the PNET Scheme evaluation, student voices, suggestions on fostering professional partnerships between NETs and LETs in schools, and ideas on promoting pedagogical innovation and networking.

After the forum, the participants were offered the opportunity to attend one of the thirteen parallel sessions on a variety of topics.

Long-serving primary NETs (10 years or more) were thanked for their service and presented with a certificate of appreciation. pdf
