Support Services


In light of the latest developments in education and needs of kindergartens, the School-based Support (Kindergarten) Section will establish a partnership with kindergartens.  Through collaboration in various support areas, thereby enhancing teachers’ professional knowledge and practical abilities in learning and teaching.  The support highlights are as follows:


1. Strengthening linkages with curriculum initiatives

  • Strengthening linkages with curriculum initiatives, such as values education, Chinese culture and catering children’s diversity.

 

2. Strengthening support for school curriculum leadership

  • Enhancing curriculum leaders’ professional capacity in curriculum planning and leading their school teams to develop a distinctive and effective school curriculum in alignment with curriculum initiatives.

 

3. Optimising the mode of support and enhancing dissemination

  • Enhancing inter-school exchange platforms to promote professional discussions and sharing, and facilitating further dissemination of experiences so that more schools can benefit.

 

4. Optimising the “Mainland–Hong Kong Teachers Exchange and Collaboration Programme (MHKTECP)”

    • Leveraging the expertise of Mainland expert teachers, such as in Chinese culture and virtues, to optimise the effectiveness of exchange and collaboration.
