Management Toolkit for Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) Schools

This Toolkit aims to facilitate DSS schools in their implementation of the improvement measures as recommended by the Working Group on DSS under the following aspects:

^*     In response to the recommendations in the Director of Audit’s Report No.55 by the Audit Commission and the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Report No.55 by the PAC of the Legislative Council about DSS schools, the EDB set up a Working Group on DSS in February 2011 to review the administration of the DSS as well as the governance and administration systems of DSS schools.  The Working Group submitted its recommendations to the Secretary for Education in December 2011, which were all accepted in February 2012.
