- To share ‘best practices’ among schools
- To ease students’ transition from Chinese-medium primary schools to EMI secondary schools

- What is this set of materials about?
- Since a number of EMI school have developed their own summer bridging programme materials, these materials represent a collection of ‘best practices’ of local EMI schools.
- The materials consist of ideas gathered from other bridging programmes of various lengths and duration, and many of the activities have been produced, tried out and revised by local teachers. The project team also provided its own input and modified some of the ideas.
- What are the special features of this set of materials?
- The present set of materials is designed for a Summer Bridging Programme of ten days. Since other EMI schools may have programmes of a different duration, the activities can be conveniently taken out and used by individual schools to suit their own purposes.
