Notes:
- The site with an area of about 7700m2 is proposed for the construction of two special schools which may be interlocking subject to the final design of the two schools. The approximate site areas as stated above and the site boundaries as shown on the location plan are indicative only and are subject to the final design of the two schools.
- Shared facilities may be incorporated in the design of the Interlock Area of the two schools. If yes, the two neighbouring schools will share these facilities as well as their management and maintenance responsibilities with each other. Detailed arrangement will be subject to the finalisation of the school design.
- The boarding section has to provide both 5-day and 7-day boarding services.
- Availability date of school premises is subject to various factors including, inter alia, planning approval, public consultation, funding approval of the Finance Committee of the Legislative Council and changes in the demand and supply of school places during the planning process.
- The successful applicant body shall agree to manage and maintain the school premises and the designated areas stipulated in the Engineering Conditions of the Permanent Government Land Allocation. The designated areas may include slopes abutting the school premises, subject to the Lands Department’s final decision on the Engineering Conditions.
- The school premises will adopt various forms of energy efficient features, renewable energy technologies and green features wherever practicable.
