Introduction
The School Allocation Exercise 2006 has started. Two primary school premises in the Kwai Tsing District to be vacated in September 2006 are available for application by eligible school sponsoring bodies (SSBs) for operation of international schools. [For press release, please click here(13 KB)]

The EMB will also make arrangements for interested applicants to visit the two school premises in early May 2006. Applicants wishing to join the visit should approach EMB by 6 May 2006 for the necessary arrangements.
Submission of Application
(1) | The applicants should submit a proposed school plan [NOT MORE THAN 10 PAGES including all annexes] plus a 2-page executive summary. SSBs may also provide information on the school(s) that they are operating and their accreditation reports, if any, to support their application. | ||
(2) | Should the proposed school plan contain more than 10 pages, the application might be adversely affected. | ||
(3) | Applicant bodies are required to submit one copy each of their application forms and detailed information on their eligibility [i.e. incorporation document and certificate of exemption from tax], together with 15 copies each of the documents as stated in (1) above to the following address by 26 June 2006: | ||

(4) | Fifteen soft copies of the proposed school plan in the form of diskettes or CD-ROM are also acceptable. Late submission or incomplete application may not be entertained. |
