JENESYS Programme (2024)

The Visit

The Hong Kong delegation comprised of 20 members, including 16 secondary five students, one school head, two teacher-chaperons and one EDB officer from Hong Kong.  The Hong Kong delegation visited Tokyo, Ibaraki Prefecture and Saitama Prefecture in Japan from 8 to 14 December 2024.  Within the 7-day visit, student-delegates got a deeper understanding of the Japanese culture and cutting-edge technology through school attachment, homestay and visiting museums and Universities.

The visit was completed smoothly and the Hong Kong delegation returned to Hong Kong on 14 December 2024.  All the student-delegates were satisfied with the exchange programme and of the view that the experience was impressive and rewarding.
