For Operators: Application Schedule for CBS Transportation Arrangements in the 2024/25 School Year

Open application for the following transportation arrangements for CBS, including:

(1) Special Quotas for Cross-boundary School Coaches (CBSC)

(2) Prohibited Zone Permits / Closed Road Permits for Local School Vehicles at Lok Ma Chau Spur Line BCP

(3) Local School Vehicles Accessing Lo Wu Station Road (MTRCL Section)

(4) Closed Area Permit for Cross-boundary Students (Lo Wu or Lok Ma Chau Spur Line BCPs)

Deadline of all the applications listed above

*If the Hong Kong Observatory issues Pre-No. 8/Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal before 3:00 pm on the day of submission deadline, the deadline for submitting information will be extended to 3:00 pm on July 4, 2024 (Thursday). Operators can submit information in person or by post (based on the postmark date). Information submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Operators should maintain close contact with parents and schools. If the applications for special quota for cross-boundary students or the Prohibited Zone Permits / Closed Road Permits to access Lo Wu BCP / Lok Ma Chau (Spur Line) BCP are not approved, the operator must contact the affected schools and/or parents as soon as possible and assist cross-boundary students in seeking other cross-boundary school coach or local school vehicle for cross-boundary students operators with the relevant approved quota / permits and vacant seats so that parents can consider other means of transportation.
