Introduction

 

  1.1 Objective: To introduce the objective of this course

We now live in a world where people are widely connected by digital screen devices. Many of us become dependent on these devices every day. However, an often-neglected aspect of the extensive use of digital screen devices is its impact on eye health, particularly among young people.


 1.2 Background 

This educational resource package is funded by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong Government and is prepared by the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, the Chinese University of Hong Kong to provide information about eye care related to the use of digital screen devices.
