School Experience Sharing on Whole-school Curriculum Planning Series (2): Equipping Students for the Future through Continuous Review and Enhancement of the Curriculum
Date: 11th June 2024 Time: 2.30 p.m. - 5.00 p.m. Venue: Lecture Theatre (WB), 4/F, West Block, Education Bureau Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre, 19 Suffolk Road, Kowloon Tong, Kowloon Sharing schools: TWGHs Kap Yan Directors' College The school drew on the space released under the measures to optimise the four senior secondary core subjects to offer “Social Entrepreneurship Programme” to Secondary 4 and 5 students. This programme provides opportunities for students to understand and experience the needs of different social groups, and propose innovative ideas and feasible options to lift their life quality through experiential learning with the aims of enhancing students' sense of social responsibility and 21st century skills. HKSKH Bishop Hall Secondary School The school has adopted a whole-school approach to progressively integrate elements of positive education into the whole-school curriculum by designing learning experiences for students within and beyond the classroom. The teaching team, through their words and actions filled with passion, creates a conducive environment for promoting positive education and works in concerted effort to help students cultivate positive mindsets, recognise and leverage their personal strengths, and develop proper values and attitudes so as to empower them to navigate the challenges they may encounter in the future with confidence.
